Polyester One Way Slings

Lift & Move Enterprise offers One Way Slings for different applications and capacities for transportation of various products mainly tube bundles and pipes.

We offer One Way Sling at economical costing for Export Shipments, These are made from polyester webbing made out of High Tenacity polyester yarns in 18mm to 80mm sizes normally, in safety factor 5:1, conforming to ASME B30.9 or DIN 60005. One way slings can be used to lift up to 12 tons with help of two slings in Basket mode.

As the name indicates, One Way Sling are used for only shipments, and are disposed off once material is unloaded. to keep these price effective, these are not color coded, eyes are not reinforced. These slings are widely used by exporters, as these are used for loading and unloading the shipments. These slings are placed with products in production stage and are used for handling / loading / transportation / Unloading the Cargo. After unloading one way slings are normally disposed off as these are specially meant for single application only and have a lower safety factor than Industrial Slings.

One Way Sling / Single Use Lifting Slings offer a low cost means of lifting, loading, transporting and unloading certain types of cargo. They are designed to be attached/fitted to the load for the very first lifting operation. The sling will stay with the load throughout its journey which may or may not include loading and unloading multiple times, until it arrives at its final destination. Load safety is paramount at all times. It is common place to remove and destroy the slings after completion of the lifting operation. Especially when it is for more odd-ball loads, such as moving a barge or boat, hence the term disposable slings. One way disposable lifting slings are typically used by steel yards, tube mills and for other mass produced bulk items.

We can make these with either soft eyes at each end or completely endless. Also commonly referred to as a one way disposable sling, one way lifting sling & disposable one way sling. These types of lifting slings previously had a safety duty rating of 5:1 and were typically thrown away after one use.

One Way Sling are normally designed and produced to specific export shipment requirement, and we try to keep them simple and economical, to make them cost effective. One Way Slings are popular in exporters as these cut down the loading time, as well the buyer has not to arrange slings for unloading the shipment.

One way slings are commonly used by tubing / pipe manufacturers. As well as lifting and transporting large structures for the construction industry, this often includes roof trusses and pre-fabricated timber, housing panels / walls. Another use for one way slings is for lifting boats and barges from water to dry dock. Often for repairs and maintenance or for transportation to another location. One way slings are used in many other areas. Including manufacturers of steel mesh, steel bars, and on production lines for assembling components.

One Way Slings can be Eye-Eye type in simplex or duplex or in endless form depending upon the requirement of the shipments.

One way slings are commonly used by tube / pipe manufacturers as well as lifting and transportation of large structures for the construction industry, these are also used in pre-cast concrete structures and also used by manufacturers of steel mesh, steel bars, bright bars, copper tubes, stainless tubes etc. as with One way slings scratches and damages can be avoided.

HOW ARE ONE WAY SLINGS USED ?

One way slings are typically used in two ways. First way being that the One way Sling is incorporated into the assembly at manufacturing stage at the beginning and used to handle that assembly throughout the manufacturing process and finally used for loading and shipped off with assembly so it can be used subsequently for loading and unloading.

But the most common way is the second way in which the one way sling is simply wrapped and secured around the load and connected to a lifting device, and this one way sling shall stay with load throughout its operation until the slings is removed at the destination.
